June 6 Home Communicator – Many parents ask if it feels good to have the year almost over and I always smile because many of you know children wind up – not down – as the end of the school year gets close. Summer is a very different time around school. Most of our time is spent preparing for the upcoming year, but it is also a time to look back.

As a community, Hudsonville Christian has so much to be thankful for over the last year. As I so often say to parents, “We are so very blessed.” There are many special events that will be happening this week, but probably none more important than our 8th grade graduation tomorrow night and our year-end PK – 5th grade chapel happening this Thursday. Both of these events, among other events as well, are unique opportunities to see God’s Spirit alive in our children!

I mention these activities because I want you to know we consider it a privilege to partner with you in the process of educating your children, God’s children. You have heard me say many times “Hudsonville Christian wants to work with you to make Christian education affordable for every family that desires one.” If you are already enrolled – thank you for allowing us to partner with you. If you know someone is considering a Christian school home or needs help to make a Christian education happen for another year, please call. I would love the opportunity to talk with you.

Blessings on a wonderful summer!
