August 30 Home Communicator – Welcome back to the 2022-2023 school year! Teachers have been busily preparing their classrooms and materials in anticipation of the new academic year, and are eager to meet their new students. The summer break is a wonderful time to refresh and reset. After some time away, students are eager and a little nervous to see their new classroom and meet old friends and make new friends. Parents are following some old routines and learning many new ones as another school year begins. It is so energizing to see the students filling our halls and classes and it has made all of the preparation and diligent work worth it.
I am eager to witness how God will use our theme of “Growing in God’s Garden” this year. I anticipate many opportunities for spiritual and personal growth at Hudsonville Christian School. It is my hope that we have a wonderful school year with great growth and that we can strive for deeper roots. Let Christ be the One we place full trust in as we continue to recognize that through many changes that we face, God’s word and promises endure forever. Please continue to keep Hudsonville Christian School in your prayers as together we carry out this amazing and awesome task of raising our children through the partnership of Christian education.
In His Service, Devon K. Brinks, Superintendent
