January 14 Home Communicator – I want to start by saying thank you! These past weeks have been filled with change, sadness, moves, new roles, breaks, busyness, and much more. Through it all, the heart of Hudsonville Christian, and more importantly the community of Christ, has been evident. I am now in my second month as the middle school principal and one thing I know for sure is that it doesn’t matter whether you walk into the elementary on Oak St., or the middle school on Van Buren St., the Holy Spirit is at work in and through our students, staff, and parents.
There are many things I look forward to in my new role here at HCS. I strive to build strong relationships with every student who walks through the doors at the middle school. I look forward to challenging and encouraging spiritual growth in students as well as staff while we work to be servants of Christ both in our community and also globally. We will encourage students to explore and discover their place in God’s world and how they can be a witness in these places. Finally, I am excited to partner with parents and supporters of this school who are passionate about the mission of Hudsonville Christian.
I started with a thank you and want to end the same way, by thanking our Lord and Savior. He has done great things at Hudsonville Christian for many years, and we look forward to continuing our work for Him in the years to come.
In Christ,
Justin Knot, Middle School Principal
