June 6 Home Communicator – The staff and school board of Hudsonville Christian School thank you for allowing us to work with your children again this year. God has blessed our school and blessed our students in so many ways. Watching end of the year activities in a number of the grades, I’ve seen a great deal of growth in our children. Reviewing the results of our MAP testing (Measures of Academic Progress) throughout the year, our students have done very well. Reviewing the goals we have as a school, we have done well and we are blessed. We are thankful for many things, including an extremely successful capital campaign with our Middle School Building. We thank our Lord for so many blessings that are both seen and unseen.
It is my hope that this summer can be a time of refreshment for students and families. If you need to contact us during the summer, the office in the elementary will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 AM until 3 PM. The temporary Middle School office will be located near the East entrance because of the building project scheduled throughout the summer. The 2023-2024 school year will begin for Y5-8 on Tuesday, August 22 with a scheduled full day.
On behalf of the teachers and staff at Hudsonville Christian School, we thank you again for the opportunity to educate your children this year. As we look at the eighth grade class this year, we marvel at how God moves these young people to mature and grow through the years. Our continuing prayer is that they may become the next generation of mighty Christian leaders.
