May 31 Home Communicator – Sometimes it is good to take some time to look back and reflect. As 3 School and 4 School ended last week, our teachers and aides gathered to share lunch together and talk about favorite memories from the school year. It was a joy to share some of the fun and priceless moments that put a smile on our face, reflect about ways we saw our students’ faith start to take root, and celebrate the ways we saw our families come around one another and walk together in community. God is so faithful, and we give HIM the praise and thanks for this school year!
Sometimes it is good to take some time to look ahead. Even though this first school year experience has come to an end for our 3 School and 4 School students, there will be many more years ahead for these young learners. There will be years of great joys and years that bring lots of challenges. Through it all, we serve a faithful God, and it is my prayer that they will continue to deepen their love and faith in their Heavenly Father.
As they walk out of these doors, may these students live the prayer they often sang this year:
I wanna be like Jesus, think like Jesus, do what He would do.
In every way, everywhere, every day let His love and grace shine through.
I wanna be like Jesus so that Jesus will be seen in me.
Father, help me be like Jesus.
Praising God for His faithfulness!
