September 18 Home Communicator – A couple of weeks into school has brought many emotions for everyone involved. Excitement to see friends that may not have been seen over the summer. Anxiety for new classes and figuring out the protocols that the teacher holds. Sadness that another summer full of camping, sports camps, or water fights is over. All of these emotions can bring trials at home, in the classroom, or with friends. However, through all of these ups and downs our constant is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have a verse hanging in my office, that I feel is fitting for the emotions that the start of the school year brings.
Ephesians 4:32- “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Hudsonville Christian has lived out this verse in many ways already this year. There will be many things throughout this year that will challenge or distract us from our ultimate goal. In these moments, let’s continue to come alongside each other and build each other up so that it can be another special year at HCS! As we continue to Run the Race together, I encourage you to continue to live out Ephesians 4:32 with your kids, family, teachers, and friends.
