September 4 Home Communicator-Dear HCS Community,
It’s such a blessing to be back in this place welcoming children and staff to another year of Christ-centered education. It has been a joy for me to watch students’ eager faces reconnect with friends, teachers greeting the students they have been praying for over the summer, and parents with mixed emotions getting back into the routine of school. Even though I’ve witnessed transition before, this year, I do so from a new perspective in the role of Mission Advancement. The Lord’s gentle leading brought me into this position, and I am so privileged to be in a role where my service to the HCS community consists of speaking forth the wonderful things He is doing at HCS and extending opportunities to partner with Him.
One of our first opportunities to partner with what God is doing at HCS is our annual Faith Campaign which kicks off next week. I am already praising God for how He will faithfully provide, yet again, through generosity of the HCS community to reach our $250,000 goal. Monies from this campaign make possible maintenance of our facilities and tuition assistance to the 80+ families that HCS partners with each year to make a Christ-centered education possible for their children. Witnessing the Lord move the hearts of His people through generous giving has already been a huge joy, and I ask that you prayerfully consider joining in the opportunity to give to this important campaign.
