Philosophical Biography
As a college student I was able to observe classrooms early on and through those classroom visits I realized teaching was what I wanted to do. God has put a lot of positive people in my life that have influenced me and shown me what it takes to be a great Christian educator. Christian education is something that I have known my entire life. Being a teacher in the Christian school has helped me see the value and importance of Christian education. It’s crucial that students are saturated in Christ’s love and I think that happens in a Christian school through the love and care of the teachers. My classroom is a place where students grow and learn. They’ll learn how to handle mistakes and use those mistakes to develop their own learning. As a teacher I strive to help students grow in both knowledge and faith.
