Philosophical Biography
God has certainly blessed me with the opportunity to work with His children. To be part of the Christian community we have here at HCS is a gift from God. As a homeroom teacher, I value the time I’m able to spend with my students in devotions and prayer. This time of sharing greatly strengthens our sense of community. As a Social Studies teacher, I base all of our studies on the fact that God is sovereign. Whether studying events from the past, or current events happening in our world today, I constantly challenge my students with the question, “How is God speaking to us in these events?” I challenge my students to take their knowledge of God’s Word and apply it to events that have happened or are happening around them. As my students exit the classroom everyday, I often reflect on one of my favorite verses, III John vs. 4 “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth!”
