Mrs. Andrea Gabrielse

Professional Biography

I graduated in 2010 with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Calvin College. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Valley State University. I began my teaching career at Walker Charter Academy teaching 1st grade for 5 years and then God called me to Hudsonville Christian where I taught Kindergarten for 3 years. I loved teaching Kindergarten but after my third baby I took some time off. This year I am blessed to be working part-time with the ESS team where I get to work with kiddos in Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade.

Personal Biography

I am married to my high school sweetheart. Josh and I met at Unity Christian High School and both graduated from Calvin College. We have been happily married for 9 years with 3 beautiful children, two of whom also attend Hudsonville Christian. I am so blessed to be able to work part-time and spend the rest of my days home with my children. We live in Hudsonville and attend Fair Haven Church. As a family we love to go on hikes and marvel at all of God’s glory and creation.

Philosophical Biography

I have always known I wanted to become a teacher and a mom. Being a mom is my greatest joy and it makes me a better teacher. I know that God has put me in this school for His purpose and I am so blessed to be able to share God’s love with so many little ones at Hudsonville Christian School. It is so exciting to be teaching in a school where we are grounded in Christ and our mission is to further His Kingdom. This school is so dear to my heart as it is the school I attended growing up. It is my prayer that every child feels God’s love and that we can be One Body in Christ.
