Mrs. Ann DeBoer

Professional Biography

I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Elementary Education Certification.  My Master’s degree is in Elementary Education.  I also have an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting.  My teaching experience includes being on staff at HCS since 2007 and 13 years as a classroom teacher at Grand Rapids Public Schools and preschools in the Jenison and Drenthe communities.  As a professional, I continue to grow in the field by attending workshops and classes.  I am trained in Restorative Circles and Crisis Prevention.

Personal Biography

I am married with 2 adult children.  My family attends Jamestown Christian Reformed Church.  I enjoy reading, biking and exploring the outdoors.

Philosophical Biography

As a support staff member, my goal is to team with the teachers to help each child be academically successful and gain confidence in who God created them to be.  I believe my role at Hudsonville Christian, in my community and family is to glorify God with my actions, example and words.
