Mrs. Betsey Hart

Professional Biography:

In 2014, I was given the opportunity to join Hudsonville Christian as a Young 5s aide. Since then I have worked as a paraprofessional in the Elementary Inclusive Education Program as well as an aide in Young 5s and Nature-Based 4 School. It is so great to be on staff at the school I attended as a child. I graduated from Unity Christian High School, and attended both Trinity Christian College and Grand Valley State University.

Personal Biography:
My husband, Kevin and I were married in 2001. We have three boys, Caleb, Ethan, and Levi. All three of them are or have been students here at HCS. We spend a lot of time cheering our boys on at sporting events. As a family we also love to go hiking, biking, camping, and doing other fun adventures with our dog, Izzy. One of our favorite places to go is the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.

Philosophical Biography:
I am so grateful to be a part of a Christian school where not only can I show my love for God to the students, but can encourage the students in their walk with God. Being at HCS we can bring God into everything, from what we are learning in the classroom to how we play on the playground. God created each of us so special, yet so different from one another. I really enjoy supporting students as they learn and grow here at HCS. It is always so amazing to see how much each student has grown academically, physically, and spiritually by the end of the school year. God is so faithful.
