Professional Biography
I received my B.A. in education from Calvin University in 1990 and worked for Grand Rapids Public Schools for 3 years. I then decided to stay home full-time, as I had become a mother. My husband, Steve, and I eventually had 4 boys: Jared, Tony, Tim and Zach. When Zach was going not 1st grade, I signed up to be on the sub list at His elementary and subbed in various roles for 3 years. Outside of school, I have led different Bible studies for the last 8 years.

Philosophical Biography
I am looking forward to working with the children at school. I enjoy children and want them to feel the love of Jesus as well as grow in their love for Him and who He is. I love that at a Christian school I am free to talk about Jesus and teach the children from a Christian perspective.
