Mrs. Cindy Keuning
I joined the Hudsonville Christian School staff in April of 1998 as a part-time secretary in the Elementary School office. In June of 2005, I transferred to the Middle School office and into the full-time Administrative Assistant position.
I grew up south of Hudsonville, attended Hudsonville Christian School, Unity Christian High School and Davenport University. My husband John and I have two grown children who are both graduates of the University of Michigan. Our daughter is married and we recently added a beautiful granddaughter to our family. I am a cancer survivor (Hodgkins Lymphoma in 19992) and thank God for each new year. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, reading, and spending time at the beaches of Michigan and South Carolina!
The administrative assistant and clerical duties of my work are only a part of my position. I believe God prepared me for the task of being an office contact at the middle school in so many ways over the years. I strive each day to make sure visitors in our school office feel welcome, safe, and helped without stress or hassles. This includes the many middle school students visiting the office every day! The following words from the song “Grace Alone” by Scott Wesley Brown are especially meaningful to me: “Ev’ry loving word we say, ev’ry tear we wipe away, Ev’ry sorrow turned to praise is only by His grace.” My goal is to be Christ-like and show His love to those who come through our doors.
