Matthew 6:34

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Mrs. Courtney Kloosterhouse

Professional Biography

I attended Byron Center Public Schools. After graduating high school, I attended Grand Valley State University where I received an Elementary Education degree as well as a Special Education degree. I am three classes away from my Masters in English as a Second Language. I taught in Kentwood Public Schools for five years before staying at home with our children.

Personal Biography
I was born and raised in Byron Center, Michigan. I am married to Zach who is a software consultant. He attended HCS as a child. We have three kids Mattthew (6), Micah (3) and Addilyn just turned one! We love spending time outside during the Summer with family and friends in our pool. We can’t wait for our children to attend HCS and begin to get to know more people in the school community.
Philosophical Biography
I always knew I wanted to work with children! They bring me so much joy and happiness. Each student was created in God’s image and has their own unique gifts and abilities. I can’t wait to see them grow as learners and individuals. My favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:34. Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now and don’t get worked up about what might happen or might not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come your way.
