Philosophical Biography

I am very excited to teach at a Christian school.  It is my prayer that I can show students God’s abundant love and faithfulness.  I believe a Christian education, along with the church and home, can give students the solid building blocks that they need to go out into God’s kingdom and make a difference by restoring the brokenness that is in this world.  I am very grateful for the opportunity to pray for and with my students at any time, as well as have the support of parents who will pray for me.  I believe that each child is an image bearer of God.  Each child has different learning styles and needs.  Because of this, I will use a variety of approaches in my teaching to help all students learn and succeed.  It is my desire that students will leave my classroom growing in both knowledge and the belief that they are loved by God.  I also want my students to feel accepted and supported, so I will strive to build relationships in my classroom.
