Mrs. Holli Land
Professional Biography
After graduating from Grand Valley State University, I taught 5thgrade for several years. I quit teaching after my first son was born. As my three children were growing up, I spent time volunteering in classrooms and substitute teaching. I was hired as an Educational Support Services paraprofessional in 2017.
Personal Biography
My husband, Gary, and I have been married since 1996 and we have three sons, two at Unity Christian HS and one at HCMS. I enjoy spending time at the beach, reading, cross-county skiing, listening to music and playing my flute in our church orchestra at Fellowship Reformed Church.
Philosophical Biography
I became a teacher because I love kids. It is an honor to get to know my students and build positive relationships with them. I believe that all children are made in the image of God and that their differences should be celebrated. It brings me great joy to help and serve my students so that they can discover their God-given gifts and talents. It is my hope to build upon their self-confidence to allow their abilities to come to fruition so that they can make a positive difference in the Kingdom of God.
