Mrs. Holli Langerak

Professional Biography

I am blessed to teach at Hudsonville Christian School.  Ever since I was young, I wanted to be a teacher.  I was the girl on our street that made everyone play school in the summer.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College in Elementary Education along with minors in Early Childhood Development, Mathematics and Integrated Science.  I am excited to see what the Lord has planned for this year.

Personal Biography

I was born and raised in Hudsonville and attended Hudsonville Christian School myself. My husband, Levi, and I live in Hudsonville with our daughter, Elliana. Together we enjoy being in God’s creation through traveling, hiking, taking our dogs for a walk, and exploring. We attend Beaverdam CRC. In my free time, I also enjoy running, reading, spending time at the beach and being with my friends and family.

Philosophical Biography

It is such a privilege to work at Hudsonville Christian where I can share my faith with the students and where we can talk about how God created each of us unique and how He has a plan for our lives.  It is also a joy and privilege to be able to discover God’s world and all the things it tells us about Him with preschoolers. I love watching the joy and excitement on the face of the preschoolers when they discover something new about God’s creation.

It is my firm belief that God has given each and every child in my classroom unique gifts and abilities including the ability to learn.  It is my job as the classroom teacher to help the students discover their gifts and abilities and find ways to use them to glorify God.  It is also my job to help students to see the joy that learning something new brings.

I work to create a classroom that is safe, fun and full of love.  I believe each person is a vital part of the classroom and like God calls each part of the body to work together for the greater good of all, each person and his or her own unique gifts in the classroom is needed to work together for the best possible classroom environment.  I also believe that parents are an important part of the classroom.
