“As He passed by, He saw a blind man from birth. And His disciples asked Him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?’ Jesus answered, ‘It was not that this man sinned or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.’”
Mrs. Jenny Gorter
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education from Grand Valley in 2004 and went on to receive a Master’s degree in both Learning Disabilities and Early Childhood Special Education. I have had an opportunity to work with students with many different strengths and challenges including an elementary emotional impaired classroom, resource room and an early intervention speech and language program. I have been part of the Hudsonville Christian Elementary family since the fall of 2008 as the Director of Educational Support Services.
I am married to my husband Matt and we have four children who attend HCS. We live in Hudsonville and attend Chapel Pointe Church. I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my family at our cottage.
God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve at Hudsonville Christian. I am so thankful to be able to go to a job each day that allows me to worship our Creator and live out His Word. I enjoy being part of a team that helps all children feel that they are part of the HCS family and that God loves them just how they are.
