Philosophical Biography

I am grateful that God has chosen me to take my place in His kingdom at Hudsonville Christian School. Being able to look at all I teach through the lens of my love for my Lord is such a blessing.   I especially enjoy telling Bible stories.   It is a time when I can feel and see God at work in the growing faith of my young friends.   It is my privilege to partner with the parents of HCS. I am blessed and encouraged by the support I receive from them.  I am inspired by their love and support of their children, and the sacrifices they make to provide their children with a Christ centered education.

My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”  My prayer in teaching young children is that they will grow in their faith and love for their Lord.  I pray that they will know God by what they see and learn from me.
