“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.”
Mrs. Julie Moes
I have been blessed to be a part of Christian education my entire life! I attended Grand Haven Christian School, Western Michigan Christian High School, and I graduated from Calvin College in 2006 earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a focus in Fine Arts. In 2016, I completed my Early Childhood Endorsement from Calvin College. My teaching career began in Saline, MI where God opened a door for me to teach and direct the preschool at Washtenaw Christian Academy. I had the opportunity to write curriculum, oversee the staff, and teach vibrant 3 and 4 year olds. In 2012, I was blessed with the opportunity to help start the 3 School program here at HCS and I have loved teaching in the classroom for seven years. Now I have the joy of overseeing our Early Childhood Programs and Kid’s Corner as the Early Childhood Director.
I am married to my husband, Jesse, and we have three sons, Levi, Brady and Judah. I love spending time with my husband and family. I also love to camp, bake, play games, and get outside to enjoy God’s creation!
It is truly a joy to get to be a part of teaching and directing the youngest of God’s children. I believe each child is uniquely created by God and I have the opportunity to help each one explore His creation, sing praises to Him, and learn about His word. It is my prayer that the joy that comes from the Lord fills all of our classrooms and His light will shine forth!
