Personal Biography

I enjoy playing the piano, cooking, trying different workouts, playing and watching sports, reading books and watching movies. Right now one of my favorite things is watching our children grow and discover new things each day.

Philosophical Biography

Ever since I knew God was calling me to be a teacher, I have wanted to teach in a Christian school. I want my classroom to be an extension of a Christian home, fostering faith and learning for my students. I became a teacher because I want to help each and every student learn about God’s world and their place in it. Math is a subject that can really be a struggle for students. Improving in math requires perseverance and hard work. These are skills that can help children in every area of life. I love discovering with students how God’s creation works together through math and how He has created the world to bring order out of chaos. I am blessed at HCS to be a homeroom Bible teacher, and walk with students as they travel on their journey of faith.
