Mrs. Kristin Power

Professional Biography

I graduated from Calvin College in 2005 with a degree in Sociology. After working for four years at an adult foster care home I returned to school and received my Bachelor’s in Nursing from Grand Valley State University in 2011. I worked in the emergency room at Holland Hospital for a few years before I decided to stay home with my children.

Personal Biography

I grew up in Zeeland Michigan. My husband Andrew and I moved to Hudsonville after we got married in 2010. We have 3 children who attend HCS, Elizabeth, Eve and Cora. We attend First CRC in Hudsonville where I enjoy helping with the kid’s programs and singing in the praise team. Our family loves spending time outside exploring this beautiful world especially the beauty Michigan has to offer. We love playing games, singing, swimming and just being goofy.

Philosophical Biography

I am amazed at the way God works. I feel so blessed to be a part of the staff at Hudsonville Christian. For the last 5 years my husband and I have fallen in love with the people, staff and students at HCS. What a blessing to be a part of this community as a parent and now a staff member. I am excited to work with each student in kids’ corner and enrich and encourage their love for God and for each other.
