Professional Biography

After graduating from Holland Christian Schools, I continued my christian education at Calvin College.  My intention was to go on into the medical field but God had other plans for me. My work experiences include working for a bank, hospital, and school for underprivileged kids as an Administrative Assistant.  After having our first two children I began looking for other flexible part-time work opportunities as my most important job was being home with my two little ones.  I started working for our home church, at first part-time and then more full time as my position grew and developed with the needs of the church.  One of the more notable responsibilities I had there was stepping in as the interim Kids Program Director.  Upon having our third child in 2018 we decided that I needed to work less and be home more.  That decision led me to HCS and it has been such a blessing.

Personal Biography

I am married to my husband, Todd, and we have been blessed with three kids, Jonah, Madilynn, and Luke.  My oldest son and daughter attend HCS and we have loved every bit of their time here so far!  As a family we enjoy boating at our family cottage in the summer months, having movie nights, and play games in the winter.  I love to express my creativity through the arts; singing and crafts are a few of my favorites.

Philosophical Biography

It is my desire to be a light on the hill and share the love and grace God has given me to others around me.  I believe that Hudsonville Christian is a place where I can do this.  With each year we appreciate more and more the community that Hudsonville Christian harbors and truly believe it is the best place for our kids to grow in their faith as well as their academics.  It is such a privilege to be able to work in a place where I can share my love for Jesus with the kids we serve and encourage them to grow in their faith too.  Every child is uniquely designed by God and is deserving of such love and acceptance.
