Mrs. Linda Kellar
Professional Biography
I obtained my Associates Degree in Secretarial Sciences from Muskegon Business College in 1982 and then worked for a couple of organizations in their Human Resources Department. This gave me a comprehensive background in benefits administration, attendance procedures, office equipment, health care assistance, workplace policies and procedures, and working with a large variety of people. I left the workforce for awhile after my son was born, but then re-entered it when an opening appeared in the church office, learning to handle the variety of needs in a ministry setting. All of these jobs in some way prepared me to work at Hudsonville Christian School in the central office, as this position utilizes a wide variety of experiences and knowledge.
Personal Biography
Joy-filled – that is how I would like to be described. God has truly blessed me – and I am in awe of the gift of His Son. Looking back over my life, God’s hand and guidance is clearly visible. I grew up in a Christian family, with solid values and a true trust in God’s providence and grace. I am married to Doug, a strong solid Christian man, and have one son, Matthew, who is attending Calvin College.
Philosophical Biography
My goal is to serve God wherever I am, however He would want me to. That can take many forms throughout a day: sharing a smile to those coming into the school, providing a listening ear to a parent with concerns about their child, soothing a skinned knee or assisting a child who is sick, being available and willing to assist students, parents, and staff. I have been blessed to be a part of the staff at HCS.
