Hebrews 13:2

“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”

Mrs. Sarah Bolt

Professional

I earned my BA in Special Education from Calvin College in 2005 with an endorsement in Cognitive Impairments.  In 2011, I earned my Master’s in Learning Disabilities from Grand Valley State University.  I began my teaching career at Ada Christian where I served as an inclusion specialist for 4 1/2 years.  I took a few years off to spend time with my children and serve as a director of development for Starlight Ministries.  In 2012, I was blessed to be called back to teaching in the inclusive program at HCMS.

Personal

My husband and I have three wonderful children.  We enjoy living in the peace and quiet of the country.  Our favorite family times include kayaking, hiking, gardening and the occasional family game night.

Philosophical

I love to serve and to assist.  One of the greatest joys for me is to help children discover and use their God-given talents and abilities.  They need to feel confident as image-bearers of Christ and to achieve success in working for His kingdom.  I am thrilled to be able to serve in a Christian school where I can nurture students’ faith and support them with prayer.  My goal is to turn the bricks and mortar of my classroom into a safe haven where students are encouraged to seek God’s will for them and to act accordingly.
