Event Sponsorship Fundraisers
Tuition Assistance Golf Outing – The Hudsonville Christian School Golf Outing is held in early August at the beautiful Railside Golf Club in Byron Center. Participants enjoy a delicious lunch after their scramble or before heading out onto the course for the four person scramble.
Clay Shoot – Hudsonville Christian School Clay Shoot is held at Blendon Pines in Borculo in September. The Clay Shoot supports the HCS Tuition Assistance Fund and raised over $13,000 last year.
Education Foundation Dinner is held in the fall and is an uplifting evening enjoyed by friends of HCS, parents and grandparents. The evening celebrates the importance of Christian education now and into the future. Please call the school office if you would like to attend.
Walk-A-Thon – This event, organized by the Parents’ Club, raises funds for items not covered by tuition such as technology needs, field trips, sports’ teams, event rentals and bussing. All students participate in this fun day in May by collecting pledges and walking with their fellow classmates for a specified time.
Middle School Fundraiser
Magazine Sale – Thank you for your support of the HCMS Magazine Sale. We may order magazines online at www.gaschoolstore.com using code 2487593 for Hudsonville Christian Middle School. Thank you for your continued support of the Middle school. HCMS earns 40% of every dollar spent!
Parents’ Club Led Fundraisers/Events
Love Bazaar – Each year, our Parents’ Club provides a Love Bazaar for our elementary students. This is a not-for-profit student activity. Instead of a fundraiser, it is something our parents do for our children to help experience the joy of giving at Christmas time. The Parents’ Club acquires an amazing array of useful and attractive gift items and prices most of them for several dollars each. These are excellent bargains due to the committee members who shop all year. Students then “shop” with their class and make purchases, which are wrapped and labeled on the spot, for their immediate family.
Hudsonville Fair – Hudsonville Christian School has a food booth and concession stand during the week of Hudsonville Fair in August.
SeptemberFest Arts and Craft Fair – This is an annual Craft Fair held the third week in September at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds in Hudsonville. More than 150 booths are filled with crafters and artists displaying their cutting edge arts and crafts.
Auction – held each year in February/March
Walk-a-Thon – held each year in the spring.
Pig-in-the-Blankets are sold for $10.00 per dozen from the elementary kitchen freezer. You must pay when you pick them up.
Several other on-going fundraisers such as Boxtops and TerraCycle.
Revive Resale Store
Revive is a community resale store located at 3675 Baldwin Street on the northwest corner of 36th Avenue and Baldwin in Hudsonville. The store is sponsored by Unity Christian to benefit all Eastern Ottawa Christian Schools – Allendale, Borculo, Hudsonville, Jenison, Lamont, and Unity.
Donations and volunteers are needed. Revive accepts donations during store hours.
