HCS Auction Raises Over $194,000 to Support Students and Families

The Hudsonville Christian School community came together once again for a night of generosity, celebration, and fun at the annual HCS Auction. This beloved tradition combines fundraising and community building as friends and family bid (and outbid) one another to show support for Christian education at HCS. This year’s event, held on Saturday night, was incredible, raising just over $194,000.

We are absolutely blown away by God’s continued faithfulness to HCS and our community’s generosity.

The HCS Auction raises over $100,000 annually and helps fund field trips, classroom resources, and unique student experiences through the HCS Parents Club. The evening included a delicious dinner, a silent auction featuring hundreds of items—such as local restaurant gift cards, golf vouchers, rental getaways, and artisan goods—and an exciting live auction. Bidders competed for highly sought-after prizes, including front-row seats at the Christmas Celebration, teacher experiences, electric bicycles, concert tickets, and even homemade cinnamon rolls!

A highlight of the evening was the generosity shown toward the Tuition Assistance Fund, which helps families needing financial assistance. Thanks to an extremely generous $28,000 matching gift from Hi-Tech Fasteners, the event raised an astounding $62,630 for tuition assistance alone—directly impacting families in need.

The success of this event would not have been possible without the many volunteers, donors, and attendees who gave their time, talents, and resources to make the night a success.

With another auction in the books, HCS continues its mission of providing Christ-centered education with the support of an incredible, faith-filled community. Thank you to everyone who participated—we can’t wait to do it again next year!
