HOME COMMUNICATOR
It has been an incredible privilege to witness God’s faithfulness to our Early Childhood program! When I first joined HCS 13 years ago, we had two preschool teachers and just over 40 preschool students. I still cherish the memories of co-teaching that first 3-School class in 2012. Since then, it has been truly amazing to see how God has worked and moved through every part of our Early Childhood program. Today, we are blessed to serve over 200 3-School and 4-School students, 125 children in our Kids’ Corner childcare program, and we are supported by 32 incredible Early Childhood staff members. God’s hand has been evident in every detail of our growth, and His goodness continues to overwhelm me.
At the end of this school year, I will be transitioning into a new role in Mission Advancement at HCS. I am deeply grateful to remain part of this Christ-centered community, and I am excited to share the story of how God is at work here at HCS with our community.
This summer, Konni Lubbers, a current Kindergarten teacher at HCS, will step into the role of Early Childhood Director. Konni’s passion for Christian education and her heart for walking alongside young families make her a wonderful fit for this position. I am so thankful for the way God has guided her to this role!
The Early Childhood program will always hold a special place in my heart, and I look forward to seeing how God continues to lead and bless HCS in the years to come. We are truly part of a special community, and I trust that His faithfulness will carry forward for generations.
Gratefully,
Julie Moes
Early Childhood Director
