Resources for Current Parents
Handbooks
HCS is grateful to partner with parents in providing Christian education for God’s children. We feel privileged to assist our student’s academic, social, and spiritual development as we strive to fulfill our mission of challenging minds and lives for Christ.
These handbooks provide information about how we operate, communication practices, regulations for students, safety information, discipleship practices, health and support services, as well as tuition information.
Parents' Club
All Hudsonville Christian School parents are a member of the Parents’ Club. The Parents’ Club works to raise funds that will benefit students and to promote community among the families and staff of HCS. The Parents’ Club oversees administration and volunteers needed for:
- Fundraisers
- Social Events
- School Support (e.g. Room Parent)
Continue reading to learn more about each of these volunteer areas. For information, contact the Parents’ Club Executive Board.
Volunteering
Many fundraising activities and events at HCS are made possible by our parent volunteers. Volunteering keeps our tuition costs stable and allows you the opportunity to be connected to the education of your student(s). Volunteer sign-ups for the 2024-25 will be released after Spring Break.

Currently we ask that each HCS household sign-up for “points” based on the information below:
- 3 School and 4 School: no points required.
- Young 5s and Kindergarten: 5 points required.
- Grades 1 – 8: 25 points from any combination of volunteer forms.

Prayer
Moms in Prayer
Find community, find purpose. We are mothers who, together, bring all our concerns before our Heavenly Father. In prayer, we know that we are not alone and that gives us reassurance and hope. Let us stand with you in prayer for your children and for HCS.
When: Fridays from 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Location: Varies week to week! Check the Home Communicator to find out!
TRIP
You can reduce tuition by participating in our Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (TRIP). With this program, you purchase gift cards from the school to use at hundreds of local and national retail establishments. Because HCS buys these gift cards in bulk for a discount, the savings are passed on to our families. When a gift card is used, a percentage of the purchase amount is automatically deducted from the family’s tuition account. Christian education is an investment we are committed to helping keep affordable.
Grandparents, neighbors, and friends of HCS can help reduce the cost of Christian education by participating in TRIP too!
How do I get started?
Download and bring your completed TRIP General or your TRIP On Demand order form to the office to get started! Contact the TRIP Coordinator at triphcs@4hcs.org or call the Administration office at 669-6689 if you have questions.
