HOME COMMUNICATOR
At Hudsonville Christian School, we continue to be humbled and grateful for the countless ways God provides through the faithful prayers, tireless volunteerism, and generous financial support of our community. These blessings allow us to live out our mission of Challenging Minds and Lives for Christ every single day.
A few weeks ago, I had the joy of joining the other Eastern Ottawa Christian Schools (EOCS) administrators in celebrating 15 years of God’s faithfulness through the ministry of Revive, the resale store that has been such a remarkable blessing to our schools. As we reflected on this milestone, we were reminded of how God multiplies our collective efforts for His glory:
- Over the past 15 years, Revive has reached over $12.3 million in sales.
- An average shopping day welcomes more than 340 shoppers, with peak days exceeding 650 customers!
- Revive recently set a record day of $25,850.89 in sales, and in that same 4-day week, brought in $58,005.59.
- The record year in sales came just last year, surpassing $1.6 million.
- The store thrives through the dedication of 250 volunteers, many of whom are connected directly to HCS!
Following this celebration with the volunteers, Hudsonville Christian School was blessed to receive a contribution of $238,420. This incredible gift helps keep tuition lower for our HCS families and stands as a powerful example of how God works through the generosity and service of His people.
To all who serve, shop, and support Revive—thank you. If you haven’t visited, I encourage you to stop by. Who knows, you might even discover something special like my youngest daughter did when she found her first Detroit Lions jersey!
Thanks be to God for His continued provision through the prayers, volunteerism, and financial contributions that strengthen Hudsonville Christian School. We are so very blessed.
In His service,
Devon K. Brinks
Superintendent
