The HCS Educational Foundation provides broad financial support to Hudsonville Christian School, ensuring that a quality Christ-centered education is available for students now and for years to come.
Partners in the Mission
Christian education is an investment that will have a lifelong, Christ-honoring impact on the faith and life of students and this community.
This is where a firm foundation is so important. With Christ as our Cornerstone, the Hudsonville Christian School Foundation exists to support the mission of
our school through creating opportunities for families, businesses and organizations to financially support HCS and Christian education. Every year 5% of the HCS Foundation balance is gifted to the school. The Hudsonville Christian School Educational Foundation currently stands at $2.1 million, and earned over $300,000 for the school this year!
We are grateful for the generosity of the body of Christ who faithfully give out of what God has given them. He is doing far more than we could ask or imagine!

The Dan Pott Memorial Scholarship Program
HCS is pleased to honor the legacy of late HCS Superintendent Dan Pott through the Dan Pott Memorial Scholarship Program.
The Dan Pott Memorial Scholarship Program organizes donor-funded student scholarships to cover the cost of tuition to help qualifying families enroll their children at HCS. Scholarships have a $30,000 minimum, of which 5% percent of the principal is distributed yearly. The number of scholarships available will increase as the endowment increases or additional contributions are made.
Endowed scholarships can be set up in honor of a family member, organization, or business or given anonymously. The HCS Education Foundation committee invests, manages, and governs all endowed scholarships.
If you want to set up an endowed scholarship, please get in touch with Mission Advancement.

About the HCS Foundation
The HCS Educational Foundation was founded in 1973 with $2,897 and a vision for the future. Dedicated to supplement the funding of Christian education at Hudsonville Christian School on a long-term basis, the endowment was built over the next 13 years. The Foundation is administered by a Board of Trustees approved by the Hudsonville Christian School board. Since 1986, the Foundation has contributed significant annual support to the Hudsonville Christian School. This year the Foundation provided $81,000 to help lower the cost of tuition.
