Hudsonville Christian School Welcomes Konni Lubbers as New Early Childhood Director
Hudsonville Christian School is excited to announce that Konni Lubbers has been named the new Early Childhood Director. Konni will step into this role during the summer of 2025, following the transition of Julie Moes into her new position in Mission Advancement at HCS.
Konni brings over 20 years of experience in Christian education, including seven years as a Kindergarten teacher at HCS and previous experience teaching 4-year-old preschool at Holland Christian Schools. She holds a BA in Elementary Education and a Special Education minor from Trinity Christian College. Throughout her career, she has worked with students from preschool through high school, gaining valuable insight into the full journey of Christian education.
Her deep passion for early childhood learning and partnering with families makes her an excellent fit for this leadership role. Reflecting on this new opportunity, Konni shared:
“Over the last seven years in Kindergarten, God has grown me for something more. I’m excited to walk beside families as they start their journey at HCS and to support our excellent preschool teachers in fostering a Christ-centered, nurturing environment for our students.”
