Parents’ Club Meetings

Fall:    October
Spring:    May
(Please contact the school office for specific dates)

The mission of the Parents’ Club is twofold: to display good stewardship by raising and allocating funds to benefit the children of HCS and to promote fellowship and a spirit of unity among parents, faculty, and staff.

All parents are automatically members of the Parents’ Club and anyone who volunteers is an active member. To oversee the active members, organize the events that take place, and carry out the majority of the work, a Parents’ Club committee has been established consisting of 9 members each serving a 3-year term. This committee meets monthly to discuss upcoming plans and holds a General Assembly Meeting twice a year to which all parents are encouraged to attend and may voice concerns and pose questions that need to be addressed.  Each year new volunteers are needed for a number of different positions.  Any parent interested in becoming an active member of the Parents’ Club is sure to find something that fits their schedule and that they will enjoy!

Since the mission of the Parents’ Club is to raise funds to benefit the children of HCS and promote fellowship, there are a number of ongoing and annual events that take place each year.  There are ongoing fundraisers that bring in money from outside businesses, annual sales that give families and members of the community opportunities to support Hudsonville Christian School and special treats for students to participate in and support their school at the same time.  All of these events present the opportunity to volunteer, which is yet another way we can support Christian education at HCS!
