Communication
Because we see ourselves as partners in your child’s education, the staff at Hudsonville Christian feel that regular communication between school and home is important. We try our best to keep parents informed about school news and events and encourage parents to contact us with comments and questions.
One of the most important ways HCS communicates with parents is through our weekly newsletter, called the Home Communicator. It is emailed each Tuesday to HCS parents along with other HCS information. If a hard copy of communication is sent home, it will be sent with the youngest or only child from each family. If you would like a hard copy of the Tuesday communications, please call the school office.
The Spotlight is issued several times each year to inform the broader HCS community of school news and events.
The best way to reach teachers is by email. Teacher email addresses are easy to remember – the teacher’s first initial and last name followed by: @4hcs.org (e.g., dbrinks@4hcs.org).
Parent Handbook
Hudsonville Christian School publishes a complete HCS Parent Handbook which is available to each family as a hard copy from the office, or can be downloaded from the HCS website. The handbook is an important source of information about the school calendar, student regulations, transportation and safety policies, tuition and special services.
