Looking Ahead:
Initiatives for the 2026-27 Academic Year
Every school year brings new opportunities to live out our mission in meaningful ways. While students will experience countless moments of growth in their classrooms, God is also leading Hudsonville Christian School in ways that will shape our school beyond this year. The two initiatives discussed here reflect our commitment to faithfully steward the mission He has entrusted to us by strengthening the work of our school (Ephesians 4:16) and seeking to extend Christ’s Kingdom through the work of our students, staff, and school community (Matthew 5:16). As we look ahead, we are excited to see how God will continue to use HCS to challenge minds and lives for Christ, both here and beyond our campuses.

School Board Project
A New 5-Year Strategic Plan
This fall, we will begin developing the next five-year roadmap for Hudsonville Christian School. Grounded in our mission and core values and informed by research and input from staff, school board members, parents, and the broader HCS community, the new Strategic Plan will establish priorities that strengthen our commitment to Christ-centered education and ensure excellence in every area of our school. We are grateful to partner with The Champion Group to facilitate this process.
Opportunities for parent and community involvement will be shared in the coming months, and we invite you to pray with us as we seek God’s wisdom and direction for HCS’s future.
Kingdom Impact
Serving, Learning and Partnering
We continue to be humbled by the ways God is using Hudsonville Christian School to extend His Kingdom beyond our campus. The Love God, Love Others Bible curriculum, developed with significant input from HCS teachers and staff, is now being used by Christian schools nationwide. This year, our staff and students will continue to implement the curriculum and provide feedback to the publisher to further its practicality and impact. We also see God’s work through our students as they serve others in meaningful ways from encouraging local ministry partners to sharing the hope of Christ through letters written to those who are incarcerated.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue with these efforts and deepen our partnerships with local churches as we work together to help the next generation know, love, and follow Jesus.
