HOME COMMUNICATOR

I have the privilege of meeting with new families and parents who are curious about HCS and what makes our school such a special place.  Honestly, it’s such a great job!  I want to share just a few things that highlight the heart of HCS.

Did you know that students spend about 1,260 hours in school each year?

Who they are with and what they are studying matters…

Every day, your child engages in prayer, worship, and the study of Scripture to grow in wisdom and truth.  As they explore subjects like math, science, language arts, and social studies, they also deepen their understanding of God’s Word and how to follow His plans for their lives.

Students regularly have opportunities to serve others—whether helping in the school, local ministries, or church.  Here are ways they have served recently:

  • 6th graders served at Revive & Hand2Hand
  • 7th graders help out at The Laurels each week
  • Elementary students collected food for the Love Your Neighbor Food Pantry
  • Shoeboxes were filled for Christmas at the Middle School
  • Handmade cards were sent to loved ones and more!

At HCS, we believe Christian education is about nurturing a child’s heart to love like Jesus.  We teach students to love God, love others, and love learning about the world He created.  Our teachers, who genuinely care about each child, inspire them to reflect Christ’s love and be a light to those around them.

It is a gift to partner in Christian education together!
