HOME COMMUNICATOR
On the first day of preschool last week, I was popping into classrooms before the day started to make sure everyone was all set and ready to begin. As I was about to walk into one room, I saw a teacher and aide on their knees praying quietly together. Even though this is not a unique thing to happen at HCS, it was still such a beautiful image.
We know this year will bring so many new things to our students and families. Many parents will be sending their babies off to school for the first time. Students will be meeting new friends and learning all new routines of school. During this last week, we had some tears and nerves from our early childhood students. Yet, we know God is going to work in big ways this year! We are covering each of these children and families in prayer and trusting that God will grow these young hearts and minds.
It is such a privilege to pray for and walk alongside our families. “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
